100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
May 18th and 19th...Disaster Relief Auction.
Once again we were readily eager to give help toward this years auction to help raise money for those in need after a disaster strikes. We all know how important it is to lend a helping hand when the need arises. Each year our church members work together to gather items and make combo baskets to sell at the auction. This year was no different as we had many items donated and sent to help in raising needed dollars. Thank you to all who helped out in any capacity to make this years auction another big success.
On Friday night the auction has a delicious meal that many of our members like to attend, this year we had 16 members who enjoyed the Oyster/Ham/Chicken dinner. Again we were able to give back with a donation for the meals.
Some info and photos on what some of our items raised follows below. Not all items are listed due to timing of the sales being attended, and it is also my understanding that the weather tried to interfere with a storm and a power outage. "A little ironic that a storm and power outage interfered with our attempts to help provide for disaster ministries."

April 20th-22nd...Notes from the Prayer Summit.
Please be in constant prayer for our direction.
Our senior citizens were honored with a soup and sandwich social after services. Everyone had an great time as we enjoyed good food and good company. Our seniors help make up a good strong backbone in our church family and we are happy to honor them every spring!
Below are just a few of our senior citizens...
Our Women's Ministry prescribed a good dose of 'Laughter' this past weekend, with a sit down meal and silent action to raise money to help the needs in our community. We had over 100 ladies to attend to receive this wonderful blessing of fellowship and laughter...what a great time!
Our inspirational speaker was none other than Laura West from LOL Ministry from Tenn., who speaks on "Proverbs 17:22 which says, “a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones,”." Her inspirational talk gave everyone a chance to have a good laugh and reflect on how good God is to us and how He gave us all a sense of humor to laugh about things.
Laura shared her family's testimonial journey that has brought them to LOL Ministry and also shared the story of their daughter, Maleka, on Saturday evening and again on Sunday morning during worship service.
